It's sad when you've already learned to be
a part of someone's life and then end up
being strangers.
One hard fact to face in many relationships
is that while both parties experience
growth in them, unfortunately it is in two
different directions, instead of in one
direction going down the same path. One
thing that is sad to realize is how much you
don't know someone after so much time
has been given to them and dedicated to
living life with them and them only.
In an effort to avoid a relationship that
ends up with the partakers going their
separate ways after a while, both parties
have to be willing to give a great effort in
the everyday participation of the
relationship. Both parties must be in tune
with each other, and be able to not only
communicate with each other, but mostly
be able to communicate honestly with each
other so that any flaws in the relationship
may be easily pointed out, and easily fixed
when addressed, instead of letting them
compound on each other and make
overcoming them insurmountable over
time.
